It’s been a while, but here we go.
Michael McMahon is done with his Knockout Gas for the Ears EP, it should be published on here soon. He is currently at work on his next album.
Lutetium has decided to start working on his next album after a long hiatus. No idea when it’s coming out, since the writing process has just started.
All of Frozen Electricity’s future releases will be under the name Lutetium. No specific meaning for me behind the name, I just saw it in the Periodic Table of Elements and thought it was a neat sounding name.
The idea behind changing the name is, while I’m proud of what I did as Frozen Electricity, I’m taking a different direction and feel a new name is in order for a different style of music.
Due to drum recording issues, Michael McMahon will independently release his raw version of Knockout Gas for the Ears very soon by himself. Around May (when I get my iPad =] ) I will be rerecording the drums and releasing the updated version through Footbag Records. :)

I’d have to say a more rock-oriented direction. I still totally dig the electronic stuff but I’ve gotten more proficient at playing instruments so I’ll probably have a lot more live recording.
The second release on Footbag Records will be Knockout Gas for the Ears by Michael McMahon. His music would best be described as dark, keyboard driven music with a slightly hard edge.
Michael is recording all of the vocals, keyboards and any additional instruments except drums. I’m handling that part. I’ll be producing and mixing it as well. Seeing as how this is the first time I’ll be collaborating with anyone, I’m pretty excited about this release.
All of Michael’s parts are recorded, I just need to stop being lazy and record my parts.
Look forward to it whenever I get it done. :)
The first release on Footbag is going to be a big compilation of everything Frozen Electricity has ever done up until now. I’ll make up some artwork and a title and whatnot.
Footbag Records was started back in like 2007 when I first started Frozen Electricity. It was basically just a fake record label in order to say I was signed to someone. I decided to take a break from making Frozen Electricity’s music and start actually publishing and producing records for people. That’s what brings us here.
Footbag is back. For the first time.
